All dating situations can be nerve wracking but one of the most terrifying are blind dates so getting some dating advice for one of these beforehand is essential.
The upside to blind dating is that it tends to be friends and family who choose our potential blind dates and they at least have some idea of your likes and dislikes.
But there is no guarantee that the chemistry will send sparks flying so you could end up in the sticky situation of disappointing a friend or family member if you both don’t hit if off.
There are, however, many success stories with blind dating and this way of finding a mate should not be written off.
Other blind dates would be through speed dating, internet dating or through dating agencies although you are likely to have at least a photo of the person you are set to meet.
Safety is the major dating advice for blind dates as you have never met the person before. Choose somewhere public to meet such as a bar or restaurant not your home or their home.
Physical attraction is only one aspect of a successful relationship so until you meet the person a few times you will not know whether you are compatible just like any other dating situation.
So for blind dates as dating advice – they are an option if you are on the hunt for a new man but there could be a lot of trial and error before you find the right person.
